FabrianoInAcquarello è il convegno internazionale di pittura ad acqua su carta che si svolge a Fabriano, la città marchigiana che ha dato i natali alla carta in occidente. La convention si svolge dal 2010, quando la prima edizione fu organizzata in modo sperimentale con una elite di artisti nazionali. The city square Piazza del Comune, is the political and cultural centre of the city since its origins and it boasts the Sturinalto fountain (1285), a veritable jewel set in admirable surroundings. Behind the fountain, there is the Podestà Palace (1255), defined as one of the prime examples of gothic style in the Marches. The collections of the Art Gallery offer a qualitative image of the artistic production of Fabriano and central Apennine between ’200 and ’500, with high and rare aspects of Romanesque painting and the well organized cycles of works by masters Allegretto Nuzi (fourteenth century) and Antonio da Fabriano (fifteenth century).
